      Instruction
      Step One
      ■ Gently tighten 4pcs clamp screws on the shank of the tool as in figA, so as to avoid excessive changes in subsequent adjustments.

      Clamping screws should be done in a diagonal manner to ensure parallel pull back.

      ■ Adjusting 4pcs radial adjusting screws as in figB.

      The "high spot" will become apparent by checking the spindle on. Gently tighten the nearest radial adjusting screw to push the tool screw to move the tool and correct coaxiality.

      ■ According to blade position shown on as in figC, the "high spot" will be found.

      If the tool is running blade high then the relevant axial adjusting screws must be tightened to correct coaxiality as in figD.

      Until the adjustment result meets the requirements, tighten screws in a diagonal manner as in figA.

      Q What is the difference between a DHP-Z Adjustable Hydraulic Chuck and an SF-Z Adjustable Shrink Fit Chuck?
      The DHP-Z Adjustable Hydraulic Chuck uses hydraulic pressure to clamp the tool shank, offering flexible and repeatable clamping with fine coaxiality adjustment. The SF-Z Adjustable Shrink Fit Chuck uses thermal expansion and contraction (heat shrink) to secure the tool, providing extremely rigid and high-precision clamping. Both types feature the same Z-axis coaxiality adjustment mechanism.
      Q How do I correctly adjust the coaxiality of the DHP-Z / SF-Z chuck?
      Follow the three-step instruction: First, gently tighten the 4 clamp screws diagonally (figA). Second, adjust the 4 radial adjusting screws to correct the radial "high spot" (figB). Third, check the blade position and tighten the relevant axial adjusting screws to correct axial runout (figC & figD). Always tighten the final clamp screws in a diagonal manner.
      Q Is a collet included with the chuck? What accessories are included?
      A wrench is included with each chuck. The collet is not included and must be ordered separately. Please refer to the "Suit collet" column in the specification table to select the correct matching collet model for your chuck.
      Q What spindle interface types are available for these adjustable chucks?
      These adjustable chucks and adapters are available in HSK63A, HSK100A, BT40, BT50, SK40, and SK50 spindle interfaces, as well as FL flange-type heads and adapters. Please refer to the individual product tables above to find the right interface and specification for your machine.

      The chucks support a wide range of tool shank diameters. For Hydraulic Chuck (DHP-Z) models, shank diameters range from 6mm to 32mm. For Shrink Fit Chuck (SF-Z) models, shank diameters range from 6mm to 32mm as well. Please refer to the "d" column in the specification tables for exact values per model.
      Q What is the purpose of the FL-type head and adapter in this product series?
      The FL-type Adjustable Hydraulic Head (FL-DHP-Z) and Shrink Fit Head (FL-SF-Z) are standalone tool heads designed to be used in combination with the HSK-A-FL, BT-FL, or SK-FL Adjustable Adapters.
